So this is what's been going on with me...
The last few months have been very interesting. So I haven't really blogged anything lately, for the hopes of not sounding like the only broken record because there's hasn't been much going on with me. Well there has been, most of it has been good, most of it has been bad, but there have been things happening. So let's see...
Still haven't found a job yet. This is starting to piss me off, because I apply for things and don't hear back. I call places and I get told to apply online. I've called people to see if they know anyone and nothing has come back as of yet. At this point, I'd even take PowerPoint Specialist. LOL I am keeping a smart head about me and not get depressed, because once again, I tried out for a position at my dream job - MARVEL COMICS - but they're once again not in my immediate future (or the pessimist in me says that they don't want me). It's unsettling because the unemployment insurance is running out in a few months. I am in the system as a freelancer at this one job placement place, but nothing has come up yet. I am supposed to check in every weeks and I haven't landed anything yet, which is a complete bummer considering that I can do anything, but yet they don't have anything that fits me.
Have to get a new place. Yeah, so if you haven't heard by now, Travis and I have to be out of the apartment by the end of May. My landlord's parents are moving back up from PR and her father is sadly dying of cancer and they want to be close to her. Which I understand, but however, this puts Travis and I in this unfortunate situation of trying to find a place to live. This was so unexpected and now I know the feeling of being unprepared. So we're on the apartment hunt now.
Been writing and not drawing. In an effort to figure out what direction I want to go in creatively, I am taking my hand and doing more creative writing and absolutely needing to draw more. Really, I don't do this because I spend most of my time playing my Xbox 360 and Gears of War. It's the only thing I can do without feeling like I'm a schmuck for everything else.
And I turn 30 in a few weeks. God help me! =)

You seem to have a good level head about the situation. Sounds corny as hell but keep believing that what you want will come to you. lol. Like I said I sounds corny as hell but it's true. Good Luck! Oh yeah, there are still some great afforable rentals in Carroll Gardens. If that helps.
